"I do not believe that a painter is able to invent his own painting style only to present himself as being modern, without at the same time causing damage to his own personality. I believe that everyone has the right to express himself in his own style of painting, just as everyone has his own handwriting. The goal should be, to find out this handwriting and continue cultivating it."
